B's 21st dinner

Went to Balzac because we heard the food was good there so we decided to give it a try! We had escargots for appetizers which was good but nothing great. Love their broccoli butter and herb butter, great with the bread they served which was good too!
For mains I had duck confit over mash which was super good! My first time trying duck confit and it won me over. Skin was crispy and the meat was so juicy and tender. Not a huge leg of duck but portion was just right for me. B had entrecort which is a steak with frits. My main was better than his. Fries werent crisps either.





Give Balzac a try! I'll give it:
8/10 for food
9/10 for ambience
7/10 for service
Its located at Rendezvous hotel, next to the cathay/ SOTA.
